MEET LACEY

I’m an author and yoga teacher passionate about health and high performance. We operate at our highest when we nurture our holistic being. Our mind, body and spirit need our attention, and each can be conditioned and strengthened by adding a few impactful lifestyle habits. I help blend a high performance lifestyle with an intuitive self-care plan. I use my past experiences and my education to help clients reach their goals and feel their best.

Let’s take it back— I’ve worked in the fitness industry for 15 years. I’ve taught indoor cycling, group fitness, kickboxing, and been a run coach. I used to run long distances competitively. In total, I have run 4 full marathons and 13 half marathons. I noticed as time went on the recovery became more and more difficult. My body was telling me to make a shift. It took a physical nagging to open the door to yoga. I fell in love and decided I wanted to teach. So 8 years ago I became a yoga teacher.

In 2012 I decided to enter the pageant for Mrs. Texas and won! I placed 4th runner-up at Nationals that year, but my goal of representing my home state of Texas was already achieved. The experience allowed me to speak at events across the country which then sparked my passion for public speaking.

What started as “showcasing your best” soon transformed into a message of focusing on personal wellness and how to fit our personal wellness into a busy life style. Something I could speak to from experience.

The speaking lead to writing my first book. It showed me the importance of sharing my story. I shared it on stage and saw an opportunity to write it down and ultimately reach more people.
High Performance Detox was my first book geared toward high achievers who want to showcase their best but usually at the detriment of their health. People think to be a high performer you have to give it your all at the expense of your well being. This book guides those individuals through the process of becoming their best while still keeping their wellbeing a top priority.
