Welcome to Lacey’s Lane
A personal space where I share stories, reflections, and the little moments that make life meaningful. From everyday adventures to heartfelt lessons, updates, and inspiration, this is where life unfolds—one post at a time.

How Success is Measured?
I’d like to introduce you to the inspiration behind my latest literary work, Miles With Maximus

How Maui Gave Us More Than Just a Vacation
Up for a Hawaii story?
If you’ve read Miles with Maximus, you met Chewy. A rescued King Charles Spaniel/Chihuahua Mix that introduced himself to us in 2021. Chewy past in 2023, but he still with us. He even travels with us.

At The Speed of Opportunity
February was a lovely blur… I have eight ladies moving through my first online course, (yes, in tandum with the book launch ) and I have to confess, I’ve been moving through the steps, again, with them.
It’s fun to learn by yourself, but have you tried to share the fun with someone else? Collaborative learning can take the process even deeper, and that was an “ah ha” for me in February.
MARCHING ON… we’re feeling all the trends, friends, and all the green!
As spring hovers in the wings, set your stage! What do you want this spring? How does it feel? Now go get it.

Happy Chooseday!
What are you reading lately? We all have choices over what we consume—food and information.
Besides my blog, what data are you consuming? I try to keep things positive on here, but some of you may have read one of my published books and know that life isn’t always “sunshiny.”
In High Performance Detox, I share some college woes, heartbreaks, and sickness. I also share the lessons which helped me drop society’s pressures I used to make my own. As a high performer, you always want to do your best, and the key is staying on the path created for you.
In ELEVATE, I dive a bit deeper into mindfulness and the power of our thoughts. My thoughts were playing tricks on me for a season of my life, and I had to learn strategies to take back my power over them.
I made a new retail partnership today and now both of these books sit in a beautiful book nook in Port Aransas, TX. The sun is shining, and it is a great day to grab a book and a spot to sit outside and read. Maybe I can help you choose a new book?

The Ones Already Here
I recall TONS of people telling me I’d regret not having my own children someday. That hasn’t happened yet. But what has happened is children in my life growing up, turning 18 in a blink, and making me THANK MYSELF for staying true to me, so I can give more to them (all of’em).

Love, Letters, and a Little Bit of Sunshine
Who are my traditionalists out there?
Snail mail, hand-written notes, crafty packaging… it all matters!

Joy Meetings Matter
Several days ago, I scheduled an early meeting for today. I know I wanted & needed to stick with it. People & things kept threatening to take the time. (Sooo many things… so many people ) I get it. After all, we all have different priorities.
And, even though, I have calls to return, appendix notes to finish, and we really need to close out Maximus’ media tour, I didn’t want to cancel this meeting.
I was also tempted to cancel the meeting, so I could focus on other things—but… I learned a while back, to start early and keep your appointments.
This is the meeting.
We accomplished everything we put on the agenda.
And it’s not even breakfast time yet.
Book your priorities first. Sprinkle everything else around them. Don’t explain it to anyone. Days fulfilled.

Mindful Movement Minute
Is it time for a minute of Mindful Movement?
I don’t usually share these outside of my classes or my community newsletter, but I have a feeling lots of folks could have a better day by taking a minute and pulling on your ears.
